What Is It?

We’ve covered another Toca kid’s game before, Toca Hair Salon 2.  In this game, the player interacts with five different locations in a small town. In each setting, kids get to pick people and explore what stuff does. Tap a light and it turns on. This app reminds me of those Colorform sticker stories. It’s fun and silly. The game has no text and no instructions. It’s all about the adventure of what’s new.

Who Is It Good For?

Obviously the younger crowd: anyone old enough to tap the screen. Every tap is rewarded with visuals and sounds. The designers work hard to have a multicultural and multi-ability crowd. Each scene has a spot with a wheelchair in it. The kids get to pick who they want in their school.

Should You Download It?

The app takes up around 350MB. I’m keeping this one at the top of my list for keeping the young ones entertained. With so many scenes and options, this one might actually cure the “are we there yet” blues. Comment Name * Email *
