Neither Apple nor the Tata Group responded to any queries on the same. This latest development happens just two weeks post an Economic Times report of the Tata Group being in talks for purchasing the Wistron Corp manufacturing facility in the country. The buy out amount was a supposed $605 million. Tata and Wistron from Taiwan, that is one of the top Apple top vendors in India had been planning on a joint venture for assembling iPhones in India according to reports from Bloomberg.
