iOS 9: The Current iOS Version iOS 9 has been jailbroked with a tool available at the moment for Windows only. The jailbreak is compatible with any device running on iOS 9, including the latest 6s and 6s Plus. How to Jailbreak Just follow the below given steps if you want to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad running on iOS 9: i. To begin with, back up the device. Go to Settings> iCloud> Backup and select “Back Up Now”. ii. Disable the passkey on the device. Go to Settings> Touch ID & Passcode and disable the code. iii. Enable Airplane Mode by swiping up the screen that will open Control Center. You need to tap on the Airplane icon. iv. You need to download the jailbreak tool known as Pangu. You would also need iTunes. So, download it as well if do not already have it. v. Open Pangu and plug in your Apple device. vi. As soon as Pangu recognizes your device, choose the “Start” option. vii. Click on “Already Backup” viii. After sometime, your device will reboot and Pangu will ask you to put the device again on Airplane mode. Once you do the same and the software will continue with the process accordingly. ix. A little later, Pangu will tell you to open the Pangu app on the home screen. Tap the app and give it access to your pictures when prompted. x. Your device will reboot for one last time. Disable Airplane mode and open up Cydia. Your Apple device is jailbroken.
