How will Watermark option work?

You will find the watermark option on the Insert menu of Google Docs. The feature will let users customize the size of the font, positioning, transparency, and other vital features of the watermark. Along with this, the watermarks will get preserved when you will import or export Microsoft word documents. Google will make the text watermark feature available for “all Google workspace customers, as well as G Suite Basic and Business customers”. The feature was first rolled out on 24th January. According to sources, this feature might be fully accessible for the users in forthcoming weeks. 

Google introduced the image watermark in 2021

Google- the search giant announced the image watermark feature for Google Docs back in September 2021. The feature allowed users to add an image watermark on every page of a Google Docs document.
